Co-sleeping???

Before having children, we never thought that the house is small, nor the bed is small. After having one child, the house seems to shrunk a little. After having two, the house seems to be congested. :( Babies. They are small but they sure come with a lot of stuff. A queen size bed, even a king size bed is too small now for all four of us. Of course, since I’ve already failed to train my first son, Mo to sleep in the baby cot. I am trying to train my second son, Vaeyn to sleep in the cot at the moment. But on and off he still comes on the bed for his night feed. I try to make sure that I put him back into his cot every time after the feed. I do feel a little guilty as his brother got the privilege to sleep on the bed and he doesn’t. But, the bed is really just too small now. Mo would cry if I put him in his baby cot now, which is just lying there, collecting dust. I really regret for not training him well in the first place. I was too lazy to carry him and put him back into the cot after his night feed. It seems way easier for me to just have him sleeping right next to me as he can feed anytime he wants without having me getting up. Also, probably because I am a working mom, I always feel like I have not spent enough time with my baby. Hugging Mo at night kind of compensate the time when I’m not with him, makes me feel less guilty. But if you are like me, planning for the second one in such short gap; take my advice to train your baby to sleep in his own place.

Baby Vaeyn is already awake for a while now, after his brother vomited on the bed. Mo is having a little phlegm and started to cough since yesterday, only after the haze clear up. I guess the cough has been developing since last week but was not too bad till yesterday. I gave him Prospan- natural cough mixture made from Ivy leaf. Then, he started vomiting phlegm after his dinner. And now, right after his morning milk. I think I will have to reduce his milk intake today to avoid phlegm. Baby Vaeyn also is having little cough. I am not too worried about him because he is having the best antibiotic from the BREASTMILK! J He just fell asleep again as I nursed him while typing.
Gotta get up to have my Nutrilite’s Protein Mix before I start the day! Cheers everyone! Happy co-sleeping! Happy baby cot training! J
